Here comes fall… Don’t you love this weather? What a beautiful time of year to be outside.
Below is a list of upcoming group orders and events for the month of October:





MOTHER EARTH MEATS
In case you have not heard, there is a Mother Earth Meats delivery coming up next weekend. Today is the deadline to order! GREEN PASTURE – It’s time again for another group order of Cod Liver Oil, High Vitamin Butter Oil, Coconut Oil, and more from Green Pasture. When we order together we get a group discount and save on shipping. Visit www.GreenPasture.org for full product descriptions.

- Order deadline is Saturday, October 5th
Place your order online through The Market.
Orders must be submitted online and cannot be placed via email or in person.

- Payment must be received by October 5th
You can pay online with a credit card when you place your order or drop off cash/check at Sandra’s home by 7:00pm on October 5th. Make checks payable to Sandra Walker. If she is not home when you stop by there is a lock box on the wall in the carport. Orders that have not been paid for by October 5th are subject to cancellation.

- Estimated Delivery Date is October 21st
Pick up from Sandra’s home in Roswell (890 Melody Ln, Roswell GA 30075). She will contact you when our order arrives to make arrangements for pick up.




CARLTON FARM TOUR AND POTLUCK – Saturday, October 12th
Instead of meeting at my house in October, our Weston A. Price group will take a tour of Carlton Farms. After the tour we can socialize and share a potluck lunch. Everyone is welcome to join us – you do not have to be a member of WAPF. Bring your family and friends. It’s fun for all ages! THE WILD SALMON COMPANY – Heidi and Steve just got back from Alaska with a fresh load of wild Alaskan salmon they caught over the summer. This is the best salmon I have ever tasted! Even if you are not a fan of fish you will like this salmon. Considered “sushi grade”, it is so fresh there is no fishy smell and it is nice and firm, not soggy like the store-bought stuff that has been in the grocer’s freezer case for who knows how long. Everything from The Wild Salmon Company was caught within the last few months by Heidi herself and was filleted and flash-frozen right off the boat.

Heidi only comes to the Atlanta area once a year. This time it will be Sunday, November 17th to my home in Roswell (890 Melody Ln, Roswell GA 30075). Go to her website to read all the details: http://www.thewildsalmonco.com/wild-sockeye-salmon/


When you order directly from Heidi there is a 10 lb minimum. If you already know that you will want 10 lbs. or more you can go ahead and order from Heidi and choose the Roswell location for your delivery.

For orders less than 10 lbs. The Melody Lane Co-op will do a group order so that we can divide the 10 lb. boxes into smaller portions. I will send out an other email in the next couple weeks with the details.
