| Do you like kombucha? “What is kombucha,” you ask? You may know it as GT’s or Synergy brand beverages, available in the refrigerated section at most health food stores. Kombucha is a fizzy probiotic tea. Not only does it taste great, it also has many reported health benefits. But did you know you can make it at home in your own kitchen at a fraction the cost of store-bought? I can show you how. There are still a few spots left for the Kombucha workshop at my house this Thursday. Reserve your spot by going to The Market and finding the Kombucha workshop under the category WPRKSHOPS & EVENTS. I am also looking forward to the co-op meeting coming up on Thursday, February 28, 2013. We will meet at my house at 6:00pm to discuss ideas for the future of the co-op and volunteer opportunities.
GROUP BUYS
Mother Earth Meats
There are still a few cuts of chicken and pork from Mother Earth Meats left in the freezer. Find them in The Market under the category GROUP BUYS. All of the Mother Earth Meats products currently listed will be available for pick up this Thursday.
Green Pasture
We are still waiting for the rest of our Green Pasture order to be shipped. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything.
