July 8, 2013 - Meeting this Saturday

This post expired on July 09, 2023.

The next co-op pick up day is Saturday, July 13.
Place your order through The Market by 7:00pm Thursday.

CO-OP NEWS

I hope you will be able to join us for the raw milk discussion this Saturday, July 13th at 7:00pm. All of the details are posted on the Atlanta Real Food Meetup Group. Even if you have plenty of experience with raw milk our conversation is likely to include other real/local food topics you might enjoy. In addition, I will be taking suggestions for future meeting topics and possible bulk orders.

Go to The Market now to place your co-op order for pick up at the meeting on Saturday. If you can’t make it to the meeting and need to come earlier in the day you can, just let me know when to expect you.

Green Pasture Products
(cod liver oil, butter oil, coconut oil, etc.)
I have a few bottles of Green Pasture products for sale – only available to those that come to the meeting – first come, first served. If I don’t have what you need, and for anyone that cannot make it to the meeting, we will be placing another group order next week. Order online through the Melody Lane Co-op Market between July 14 and July 20. You can read all the details here.

Volunteer Opportunity
Do you make your own yogurt? Would you be willing to show a small group of us how you do it? I’m looking for someone to host a yogurt making demonstration some time in the next few weeks. Preferably in the Roswell/North Fulton area of town. You pick the day and the maximum number of people that can fit in your kitchen. I will provide supplies and support. I just can’t host more than one event a month at my house (that’s the agreement I have with my husband). Let me know if you can help, or if you have a suggestion for some other (free or extremely cheap) place we could use.

Hope to see you all soon!

Sandra
