GREEN PASTURE and WILDERNESS FAMILY NATURALS
Our Green Pasture order is due to arrive today. Unfortunatley, due to delays from the Thanksgiving Holiday, our Wilderness Family Naturals order has not shipped yet. I called yesterday to check on it and they expect it to go out today or Monday. If you placed an order, I will contact you as soon as it arrives.



REAL FOOD FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Our monthly Weston A. Price Meeting is tomorrow, December 7th, 7:00pm at my home in Roswell. I hope you can join us as we discuss our own strategies to deal with the not-so-healthy holiday foods all around us and share some good recipes. Details and RSVP here. If you ordered Green Pasture products they will be available for pick up at the meeting.




BROAD RIVER PASTURES HOLIDAY BAZAAR ON THE FARM – ELBERTON, GA
This Sunday, December 8th, I will have a Weston A. Price information table set up at Broad River Pastures Holiday Bazaar. It’s a bit of a drive from Roswell but, as most of you know, I will take any chance I can to visit a new farm :) This farm happens to be owned and run by a fellow WAPF Chapter Leader so I know it’s going to be a good one. If anyone would like to ride along with me and help out at my table I would love the company! Reply to this email if you are interested. Or if you would just like to attend the Bazaar on your own find out more here. This is a great family-friendly event and an opportunity to get some christmas shopping out of they way while supporting local artisans.




ATLANTA REAL FOOD MEETUP GROUP
There are a few other events coming up this month including a meeting about cold & flu prevention and a cultural foods potluck. You can read all about them at the Atlanta Real Food Meetup Group.




EAST WEST FARM
Farmers’ Markets are winding down for the year and fresh veggies are getting harder and harder to find. Fortunatley there is plenty of good meat and poultry available from our local farmers. One farm in particular that you will want to check out is East West Farm in Marietta. They have recently opened up their own online market which is now fully stocked with pork and chicken (among other things). This is not your ordinary meat. Their pork and chicken are truely free range, hormone-free, and supplemented with only organic, GMO-free, soy-free grains. The thing I like most about East West Farm is they are completely transparent in everyhting they do. They encourage their customers to walk around and “inspect” the farm at any time.

If you are looking for the highest quality meat and poultry, East West Farm has it! You order online Saturday through Wednesday and pick up is at the farm on Friday. MILLER’S ORGANIC FARM
Miller’s Organic Farm is an Amish farm in Pennysilvania that delivers a wide variety of Weston A. Price foods all over the country including raw milk, raw butter, raw cheeses, fermented vegetables, pastured meats, and soaked nuts. You can read more about them here and be sure to join their email list. They currently have a drop-off in Lawrenceville once a month and they are looking to add another drop-off location in Marietta. I am working with them to find a suitable location that can accomodate a 53 ft semi truck. If you know of any large parking lots, preferrable near I-75, that the owners’ will give us permission to use once a month please let me know. We are hoping to get something set up by next month for a January 5th drop off.
